Minecraft Beta: Available December 20th 2010

Today, 20th December 2010 saw the release of Minecraft Beta as Minecraft moves out of its Alpha stage. Minecraft Beta will also see a change to the games license with the removal of the line that promises all future versions of the game are free, but if bought during the Minecraft Beta will have all upgrades free and all versions of bug patches will remain free.
